This animated display, shows a not so plummaged white Ptarmigan being chased by a Red Fox. The entire Red Fox & Ptarmigan mount is being cantilevered from the Fox's back two legs. Structural integrity had to be studied to accomplish a well balanced display. The snow was considered for this scene, to repeat the white & reddish brown colors of the bird to the Red Fox in the snow.
